Rat Cortical Neurons were grown in tissue culture for 3 weeks and then stained with rabbit Polyclonal antibody to Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein (GFAP) (green), chicken Polyclonal antibody to NF-H (red) and counterstained with a fluorescent DNA probe (blue). Rat cortical neuron cultures were grown for three weeks in tissue culture and stained for GFAP with our rabbit GFAP antibody at a dilution of 1:5,000 (green). At this stage the neurons are degenerating but can be visualized with our chicken polyclonal antibody to NF-H (red), in this case used at a dilution of 1:100,000. Nuclear DNA is revealed with Hoechst dye (blue). Cultures were processed using our standard fixation and staining procedure (described here). To order this antibody go to our order form (here). Picture taken with a Zeiss 63X objective and documented with a SPOT camera.
