Adult rat cerebellum stained with RPCA-GFAP, rabbit polyclonal antibody to GFAP in green and mouse monoclonal antibodyto phosphorylated axonal NF-H MCA-9B12 in red. Blue shows DNA using the DAPI stain. 30.4 megapixel image, print is 24” X 36” at 204 DPI. To see a larger version of this image, as part of a slide show of our other images, go here.

Image was taken on a Olympus FV1000 confocal microscope fitted with a programmable stage which allows a series of images to be taken and then merged into one large image.

This image was made with our rabbit polyclonal antibody to GFAP, RPCA-GFAP in green and our mouse monoclonal to neruofilament NF-H MCA-9B12 in red. Blue is the DNA intercalating agent DAPI, which is in the Vestashield mounting medium we normally use (Vector labs Cat#1200). Section of rat cerebellum cut at 25μM on a vibratome following perfusion and fixation of the animal as described here.
