We had decided to go to the Society for Neuroscience meeting in Chicago, even though there would likely be not the usual huge number of attendants. Our booth was to be number 256, proudly and prominently alone at one corner of the commercial part of the meeting. We liked this as it has special significance to computer nerds, being 2⁸, the number of bits in a byte. But, due to Covid-19, the meeting got cancelled again. Oh well, next year..
