We went to the big Society of Neuroscience Meeting in November in Chicago. As usual we got a lot of interest in our booth and gave out numerous of our posters, pens, flashlights, all that stuff. One of our collaborators, scientists at Innopsys Life Sciences. This company among other things, makes an excellent high resolution fluorescence slide scanner, the InnoQuant machine. This machine can scan slides at fluorescence wavelengths of 375, 488, 561 and 640 nm. We supplied some of our rat brain slides stained with several of our best antibodies and appropriate secondary fluorescent conjugates and Innopsys was able to generate excellent 4 channel images of entire sections.
Also our CEO and founder Gerry Shaw presents some of our recent research data at the International Neurotrauma Society in Cambridge UK. This concerned our latest findings concerning the DegenoTag™ series of products. These reagents, such as for example MCA-6H63 and RPCA-NF-L-ct, continue to generate interest in the research community as unique and novel reagents for the parallel visualization of healthy and damaged/degenerating axons.
